Yossi began photographing moments in time over 20 years ago, starting with the fundamentals of black and white film photography and learning classic portraiture from the masters in the DC photography scene. Yossi went on to become an award winning photojournalist, ultimately melding the two skillsets into a style that combines both traditional posing with a photojournalistic eye for capturing the decisive moment. His ability to quickly shift between traditional and modern during an event makes Yossi a highly sought after photographer.
Over the last 20 years, Yossi has continued to improve his photography knowledge and equipment, but what Yossi strives for beyond beautiful photos is an excellent photographic experience for his clients. There are many technically gifted photographers out there and there are many warm people, but the ability to combine the two make for a truly enjoyable experience. By treating clients how he himself would want to be treated and by helping clients plan for their events proactively, the end result is not only great photos, but a stress free experience as well.
When Yossi isn’t photographing, he’s spending time with his beautiful wife Mia, playing soccer, or skiing. Yossi’s active lifestyle helps him be able to stay active while photographing events. Having been born in Israel, Yossi also speaks Hebrew and is knowledgeable in Jewish tradition.
